472 Right-sided diaphragmatic hernia causing gastric outlet obstruction 1 month after trauma

Abstract Diaphragmatic hernias arising from trauma are rare, and scarcely present in a delayed manner. This case report highlights of presentation right-sided post-traumatic hernia 73-year-old woman following fall. sheds light on the diagnostic peculiarities management. The presented with 3-day history abdominal pain coffee-ground vomiting. followed fall month ago. Computed Tomography confirmed diagnosis gastric outlet obstruction secondary to diaphragmatic rupture. At surgery, herniated contents were reduced, defect fixed. postoperative recovery was unremarkable patient discharged day 4. that should be considered as differential diagnoses recent trauma.
